The Small Fast Things Ruckus GY6 Swap Mount is a culmination of years of development, prototyping, and testing.  We sought to address a variety of different problems with conventional GY6 mounts while creating a mount that was easy to use and cost effective.

One major problem we have found and sought to address is running issues associated with carb angling and positioning.  Conventional GY6 mounts out there require the use of clocking flanges that faces the GY6 forward and at odd angles.  This actually affects the fuel level in the carb bowl and causes problems such as hard starting, rough idling, and bogging at W.O.T.

The Honda Ruckus R6 Tail Light is a great early modification for the Honda Ruckus.  It gets rid of the stock taillight tree and gives you a sleek stealthy integrated tail light that fits neatly underneath of the Ruckus seat.  Installation is a quick and easy and requires minor wiring.  You will also need to cut and grind off the frame bracket that holds the stock tail light if you want a cleaner look.

The Small Fast Things R6 Tail Light kit includes everything needed to install a R6 Tail Light on a Honda Ruckus.  The kit includes the R6 tail light that features both running and brake light as well as left and right blink...

You want to swap a GY6 150cc motor into your stock Honda Ruckus in hopes of going 60+mph on your small two wheeled machine.  So how do you do that?  The GY6 150cc does not simply bolt onto the stock ruckus frame.  You need a motor mount that will create a mounting point on the stock frame that will allow a GY6 motor to be bolted onto the Ruck.  This is where the Small Fast Things GY6 Swap Mount Kit comes in.

The 50cc Honda Ruckus is a incredible machine.  Purpose built and made to last, it is by far one of the best selling scooter of all time.  Though super reliable and relatively low maintenance, in this article we will discuss some tried and trued techniques to help maximize the life and performance of the 50cc Honda Ruckus.

An alternative to GY6 swapping a Honda Ruckus is doing a big bore kit on the stock Ruckus motor.  Though more rare to obtain parts, there have been 1 or 2 kits that have popped up over the years.  Be warned, a Honda Ruckus Big Bore is a very DIY mod and will require modification to your cylinder head and associated parts.

What are the benefits to big boring a Stock Ruckus GET motor as opposed to just swapping it out for a 150cc?  For one, you retain all of the bulletproof mechanics of the Ruckus motor (water-cooled, magnetic starter, magnetic water pump, simple valve train, etc) that makes the GET motor so reliable and effici...

We all know how slow the stock Honda Ruckus 50cc motor can be and even all the small performance mods out there for this small engine can realistically only gain you about 5-10mph in top end without significant time tuning and testing.

So what are the options out there to make your Honda Ruckus faster you may ask.  There isn't really a bolt on "Big Bore" kit for the Honda Ruckus out there.  The second option is a GY6 swap. This is pretty much replacing the stock Ruckus motor with a Chinese 150cc GY6 engine.  It is a completely new engine with 3 times the displacement and power.  It is capable of pushing your little Ruckus t...

Give me a brake...a Honda Ruckus Front Disc Brake that is.  One of the biggest mods you can do to your Honda Ruckus is a front disc brake kit.  The main benefit is stopping power but has the added benefit of looking cool and awesome!  There are many ways to do it.  The easiest is to purchase a NCY big brakes kit which includes everything you need plus a front wheel but it gets a little complex if you are looking for something a little bit more flashy or looking to piece together a kit.  The basic parts you will need are disc brake style front forks, brake caliper and corresponding caliper bracket, hydraulic brake line, brake mast...

One of the first things you are probably considering when modding your Honda Ruckus is stretching out the engine.  A stretched Ruckus not only looks cool but adds some stability and control when "drag racing" or riding low and slow.  Below is a detailed look and installation guide to our Honda Ruckus Dual Mount Stretch Kit.  Our stretch kit is fully adjustable between a 10 or 12 inch stretch and allows the ability to use either stock wheels or fatty wheels all in one kit.  This guide will outline both the installation using stock, 10x5, and 12x5 rims and fatty 10x8 and 12x8 rims....
